A danger that isn't there
Post-traumatic stress disorder. To someone insensitive or uneducated, it's a very funny condition. Why are you tripping over a danger that isn't there?
Because the danger ended, and the alarm didn't.
Writing about trauma without the trauma
Every example on these pages is the same car crash, and it's described with no detail at all. That was deliberate. A page built to help people with PTSD shouldn't become one more thing they have to avoid.
The specimens carry the rest. A memory shown as shards that keep flying into the frame marked now says what a flashback is. It shows nobody what happened.
